Let’s Try 5 Steps to Jumpstart Your Website

23 February 2007

There are a number of ways to get your website listed in the search engines, and to get more visitors to your website or blog.  Most all of them take time, however, unless you want to pay for clicks.  Ryan at http://www.college-startup.com/ has written an interesting article, “5 Steps to Jumpstart Your Website.”  He says the two most important steps are to submit articles to Reddit and Netscape.  Ryan says if you happen to get your article published on the first page of Reddit or Netscape, your number of visitors can jump up considerably.

Ryan’s article can be found here. I’m going to give all five of Ryan’s steps a try, and I’ll let you know about my results.  If you try out his five steps, be sure and comment here about the results you get.  The hard part will be writing the articles themselves.  Writing articles is a time-consuming effort, and oftentimes it is hard to get started.  For those willing to put forth the effort, though, the payoff can be a big one, according to Ryan and others.  Well, I’m off to write some articles!
