Ebook Reviews: Honest Opinion or Advertising?
18 June 2007There are many reviews of digital products on the internet. Some give short summaries of the product and some seem to give actual opinions of the value of the product. And yet, most reviews have an affiliate link for you to follow and purchase the product. This gives one the impression that most ebook reviews are simply advertising for the product.
I have searched for a website that offers honest and unbiased reviews of ebooks but to no avail. It would be nice to have a place to go and find out whether an ebook that I’m considering purchasing gets high marks from those who have previously purchased it.
The idea of building a website for ebook reviews and summaries has come to me, and I am working on building such a website. If anyone knows of an existing website that offers such a service, please leave a comment.
